The Chiappa Rhino was a 2008 design that revolutionized the revolver concept, but was not very successful in the market. Among other things, the fully enclosed firing mechanism and short-caliber shaft made the revolver quickly popular. However, this popularity was short-lived due to the high cost of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers.

While most revolvers have the barrel at the top of the cylinder, the Chiappa Rhino has it at the bottom. This helps reduce perceived recoil because the barrel conforms to the shooter's hand rather than on it. The solid CNC machined frame also makes for a very strong construction. This airsoft revolver is a faithful replica of Chiappa Firearms' own Chiappa Rhino 50DS .357 revolver. The pistol takes airsoft revolver technology and refines it to make it more user-friendly, while also raising the standard in exterior construction. Built like a tank and manufactured with real weight, the 50DS gives you a high quality airsoft replica that works, looks and feels like the real thing.
The entire revolver is made of alloy, with the exception of the faux wood pistol grip accounting for most of the weight (over 1kg). Not only is the revolver heavy, but it is perfectly assembled with no movement between the joints and a perfect seal between the barrel and the chamber. There is constant bounce inside the barrel, which is essential for airsoft revolvers, allowing you to use heavier airsoft BBs for better consistency.
Other quality-of-life features include a two-stage trigger that can be pulled normally or cocked with the hammer (actually activating the internal hammer), making the trigger more responsive and easier to pull. A handy "fire status indicator" lets you know when the hammer is cocked by holding the red lever near the hammer when ready to fire. If you want to lock the trigger properly, you can find the trigger lock safety on the back of the hammer. A set of adjustable iron sights lets you fine-tune your BB's impact point and make it a perfect shot, and the 20mm pistol accessory rail holds a variety of flashlights, lasers, and more airsoft accessories.
Chiappa Rhino Part 3
The Chiappa Rhino does the same thing as any airsoft revolver, requiring a CO2 bulb mounted under a faux wood cover in the pistol grip. A single BB is placed in each revolver shell and inserted into the cylinder. Load the hammer or pull the trigger to rotate the cylinder and fire the pistol. If you lose a shell in the cylinder and need to cycle it back, a half pull will rotate the cylinder but not fire.
