Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman elected to Congress, hit back at House Republicans who criticized her when she voted for Nancy Pelosi to become House Speaker.
Ocasio-Cortez, 29, was elected in mid-November to represent New York's 14th Congressional District, defeating 10-term Democrat Joe Crowley in last June's primary and Republican Anthony Pappas in the November election.
When she took to the polls and expressed support for Pelosi to become speaker, some members of the Republican Party groaned and cried, not with respect to her other Democratic colleagues.
